Best boonie hat
I have an excellent Frogg Togg rain gear jacket and wanted to pair it with this boonie hat when the rain hood on the coat might be too restrictive. The boonie hat lets you have a 360 degree view. With this excellent addition of just one item, This will allow me be prepared for any number of different situations. The boonie hat is the usual Frogg Togg high quality of all it's products and at a great price. It is crushable and easily packed. Pretty pleased
Everything was as expected with one exception. Although the hat is adjustable fit, light weight, water repellent, and a nice color it is slightly warm to wear. I guess the material can't be very breathable and water repelent at the same time. I would prefer to have a little more air circulation but for the money it's a good hat. Expected a sculpted hat IE dipping down in front and back ...like the picure...I did say boonie hat but picture indicated the non traditional boonie..Shown hat looked more like the well known "Indiana Jones" style.. Frogg Toggs boonie hat
I love this hat -nice looking, waterproofed and keep its shape nicely. This is my second hat (exactly the same style) because I lost my first one.
