excellent reading
I loved it !! Very enjoyable and easy read. Read it in just several nights. I Just couldn't put it down. It was great to know more about them on a deeper level : I especially loved that the book portrayed them as real people who love God and their family. I am a faithful watcher of their show. I would highly recommend this book to everyone. It was fun to read how they met and the progression of their romance and their dreams. Not what I expected...
Ok, I admit it. I read this book to make my wife happy. We are both fans of the show Fixer Upper and she read it first. Afterwards she said you will love this book! Well I started reading it one evening and next thing you know I couldn't put it down. Great book, great story
The latest trend is to decorate with books. I love that. I started following that idea and made the decision to buy books I might read several times or scroll through the pages in downtime or for inspiration. I enjoy the Gaines/Magnolia story very much (already read twice) and their books are aesthetically beautiful as well. They look great as coffee table books or in decor. Beautiful story!
Chip & Joanna are the real deal. They grew professionally through experience and gained a good reputation in their community through excellent work ethics and treating both customers and employees as they would want to be treated. I enjoyed their TV show, but knew nothing about them and wanted to learn what "Magnolia" meant to their life story. Joanna deserves extra jewels in her crown for her patience with Chip and his "uniqueness" but you learn during their story that her patience is born of trust in him and faith that God will never give them more than they can handle. Enjoying the read
I love the honesty shared and the way they are so candid even in writing. I have thoroughly enjoyed hearing their love story and how God pieced every part of it together as he did with my own unconventional marriage. Magnolia Story: A fantastic read.
I just loved the story. I am a fan of fixer upper and have been to Waco so the story really resonated with me. This couple's story is full of twists and turns that would cause many people to abandon their plans to fulfill their dreams but this amazing couple are so bound by their mutual affection they can do anything they work together on and move forward with success.
