Product Information

An 8-bit video-game character attempts to shed his bad-guy image by escaping into a popular first-person shooter, but inadvertently wreaks havoc in the video-game universe by freeing a digital villain who can only be contained with the help of a most unlikely ally in this colorful animated adventure. Wreck-It Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly) is the arch nemesis of Fix-It Felix (voice of Jack McBrayer), one of the most beloved video-game icons of all time. In a noble bid to prove he is more than the sum of his programming, Ralph sneaks from his cozy retro home into a highly advanced combat game featuring battle-hardened soldier Sergeant Calhoun (voice of Jane Lynch), and strives to prove his bravery by winning a medal. In the process, however, Ralph accidentally frees the greatest threat the video-game world has ever seen. But all hope is not lost, because if Ralph can just convince unpredictable cart racer Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman) to help set things right, perhaps he can finally unleash his inner hero and save the arcade from certain destruction.

    Wonderful movie!

    My husband and I are gamers, so it probably does help that we do love this movie in part because of all of the old school gamer references. We seem to catch more nearly every time we watch it. But we also love the movie because of the great story and voice actors throughout the movie, wonderful CGI, rich colors, developed characters, and satisfying story arcs. By the way, Disney, to be technical, Vanellope is also a Disney Princess. I know, maybe not as marketable to the adults expecting the stereotypical princess, but for a groundbreaking company it feels like it should be your mission to continue breaking the mold and surprising people. Don't you think? That would be von Schweetz. ;)

    A great, family-friendly piece of popcorn entertainment presented in a fantastic blu-Ray release.

    It’s upbeat, clever, funny and spectacular. John C. Reilly & Sarah Silverman are perfect in these roles and bring a nuanced subtlety of comedy to their deliveries. It’s written well, has a nice narrative pull and a genuine heart. One of the best Hollywood animated movies of the last 20 years. The blu-Ray release is dynamite! Fantastic detail, vivid colours, top-notch 3D and a deep, rich and punchy 7.1 DTS-HD audio track. Gives the home theatre system an impressive workout!

    "Digital Copy" is a Wreck, but the Rest of the Set's Great

    Wreck-it Ralph Ultimate came with a "digital copy," as advertised, but it turned out to be the old, now obsolete, digital-on-a-DVD type that you download and store on your PC or whatever you can transfer to, if anything. Came with an activation code for that disc; Disney will not honor, replace, substitute -- T.S. for you. Vudu, Google and Movies Anywhere will not honor; Vudu D2D not available. On the bright side, the BD, BD3D and DVD came fine and are quite worth the, honestly, mere couple of bucks each that I paid. And, it's a really cute movie.

    Very entertaining! Funny and endearing.

    Animated movies take quite a large amount of talent to put together regarding technology, skill, and top rated actors. Who wouldn't enjoy a masterpiece like Wreck-It Ralph???

    Entertaining characters & great 3D!

    I wanted to do nothing but play video games as a child in the 80's! This movie brings many of my favorite characters to life and rendered in fantastic 3D. Very cute movie!
