zulu dawn
This is the one that very rarely is shown on t.v. better cast and acting than the other one called Zulu. That is aired commonly depicting the 2nd battle. This movies historical accuracy is well looked after. It has a bad out come for the British, but history should be remembered.

Wonderful movie!
I just bought a Martini-Henry rifle, famous for fighting in the Zulu Wars, so I wanted to see the movie versions of the battles. Great actors, characters, well made, good action.

THIS HISTORY NOT TAUGHT IN SCHOOL
CLEARLY THE BRITISH MILITARY MISS JUDGED THE RESOLVE OF THE ZULU PEOPLE. I WOULD RECOMMEND WATCHING THE MOVIE "ZULU" AND THE MINI SERIES "SHAKA ZULU".

Exciting story told realisticly.
Storyline delivered as real as it happened. Dvd volume was low at times, but it was the constant action that made it enjoyable

Great British Military History
If you’re a student of historical Colonial British military actions in Africa, this is a great video. It is a follow-up to the movie “Zulu”. “Zulu” deals with the battle at Roarkes Drift. “Zulu Dawn” is the following battle where the British suffered one of their most shocking military defeats. Fascinating story, based on actual events.

A preamble to the 1964 classic ZULU
shows the decisions and blunders of arrogance leading up to the devastating loss in 1879 in the "Zulu Wars" leading to the greatest loss up to that time for the British Empire.

If you have the DVD of Zulu!, then you need to have this , and vise versa!Outstanding acting and special effects!
