Its storyline evokes a plethora of emotions, ranging from fear and loathing to hope and the elation of love. Robert Redford and Meryl Streep are electric as the two damaged infidels in love.     One of the greatest films ever made.

    Likely have seen this at least eight times, but I had to have the bluray dvd for my collection. we talk about this film, quote from it, and rave about the design points, the camera work, the vast portrayal of the grandeur that is Africa, and most of all, the casting, and the brilliant work each cast member devoted to creating this work of fine art. The remastered version we received on this DVD will give us pleasure for years to come. Great buy, well transacted..

    Ok, but not totally compatible

    Great movie. double sided blu ray dvd's aren't reliable. Blu Ray won't play in my blu ray player. Only dvd,

    Old to New

    Has been a favourite movie of mine since I was a kid. It's great to watch it again as I only had it on VHS. The clarity of the picture makes it like the first time watching all over again.

    A great film

    Hollywood rarely makes great movies anymore. This is one of those outstanding and truly great films of our time. I saw it in the theatre but always wanted to own it. Acting is magnificient, storyline is special, and the scenery is stunning.
