    The seller and the rain gauge are both excellent; however, the shipper used (USPS) has become unacceptable and incompetent. I would recommend not purchasing anything shipped via USPS. This includes numerous problems with items shipped using USPS and even a package claimed to have been delivered by USPS tracking but surveillance showed no delivery and two months trying to file a claim that was unsuccessful. The vendor told me that I was wasting my time and immediately sent a replacement.

    A+ Transaction! Very satisfied. Item received was new as described and not damaged. Item was not really securely packaged. It was in different manufacturers box that was much larger than the item with no packing material, just a light plastic bag around it. Item was shipped and received promptly. Even though there was shipping cost the total price was cheaper than anywhere else I looked.

    Beautiful and extremely easy to clean

    I highly recommend this glass hummingbird feeder. It is more beautiful than pictured, is a great size (10 oz), easy to fill and extremely easy to clean. The bottom section comes apart to clean and snaps back together when reattached to the glass. I have also placed mine in the top rack of the dishwasher.

    Well worth the money!

    The hummingbirds love this feeder. I've had several different types of feeders throughout the years with minimal visits from the hummingbirds. The very next day after I put up this green Perky Pet Antique Bottle and the Red Perky Pet Bottle, the hummers were coming regularly. Best bird feeder I've ever purchased!

    Perky-Pet Antique Glass Hummingbird Feeder

    This feeder has a nectar chamber that is made of metal on the inside upper portion; it is not just decorative but part of the internal structure that comes in direct contact with the nectar solution...that means it will eventually rust and also is toxic to the hummers. The idea of having an antique bottle is cute but the practical issue of metal in contact with a sugary solution is bad and harmful to your visiting birds. Also the rivets which hold the decorative metal flowers around the port will rust and the metal flowers may injury your hummingbirds also...not what we wish to do! For these reasons I do not recommend this feeder!

    What I think of my "Woodsteam Avant Garden 8108-2 Glass Hummingbird feeder".

    The hummingbird feeder's construction seemed adequate in the pictures and when it arrived, I did a disassembly and assembly. All the parts went together well and after hanging the feeder outside, it weathered a forceful rainstorm. I did attach colored ribbons to make it more noticable. The original colors of muted red, subdued pale green and naked metal appealed to me but no bird paid attention to it. Overall, the feeder was as advertised and if no bird pays any attention to it, I still like it.
