So as to be able to be used to not spook animals when putting the light on them. And from experience a 30yd beam is achievable. And that is a solid beam out to 30 yards. And mounted on an SMK900 with a night vision scope and the red Torch as well as a spotter. Weight is low anyway as rifle is 6 lbs? Scope is Maybe 1lb? And then red Torch with either a 45° bracket/plastic one is only 8oz at best.

The only down side was the courier, it was Evri and as per normal didn't arrive on time, when they did consent to delivering it, I got an email at 1150am, stating they would deliver between 11am and 2pm, which I missed as I wasn't in at 11am. Why it wasn't posted though the letterbox is beyond me. They said they would deliver the next day, they didn't, it was the day after and then they put it though the letterbox!
