    Good recipes not found elsewhere

    I had this cookbook for years and it has many great recipes. Some years ago a friend ask me to make him a carrot cake. I used the recipe in this book and it turned out so well he ask that I make it for his wedding cake. It was a tremendous hit and I have never found the recipe anywhere else. This is true of many of the recipes in this book. All simple and easy to make but with great flavor. If you want to learn to cook or just increase your options for meals, this book works great. Well worth adding to your library

    Best all-around cookbook

    These are the foods I grew up with in the south. Great photos, easy to read, not difficult to fix anything in this cookbook. I bought another one for my son. This would be a great first cookbook.
