No More Hard Starts
Installed this hard start capacitor on my 15,000 BTU A/C unit. Prior to the installation, my a/c was tripping the circuit breaker either in the travel trailer or the house. After the installation, the breakers have not tripped a single time. Also, now the a/c starts without bogging down my generator. Awesome product, easy installation, took about 15 minutes to do the job.

STOP HARD STARTS
I USE THESE FOR RV AC UNITS. ALWAYS KEEP ONE IN RESERVE. BE SURE TO PUT SILICONE ON CAP WHERE WIRES COME OUT AS THESE OFTEN DO NOT FIT IN PANEL. [DRILL HOLE IN SIDE OF PANEL, WITH SMALL GROMMET]

Great device
Reduced the inrush amps on my 23 year Central Air From 43 amps to 33 which now allow the unit to run on generator power. Has been installed almost a month with no issues. Unit seem to start quieter and faster. Easy to install Definitely a buy!

Didn't work for the application I needed it to on my RV air conditioner
I guess it's an alright capacitor but I had bought it to help make my RV air conditioner more generator user friendly, it didn't work at all for me. AC still wont start while using the generator. Works fine with regular ac current from the grid, but wont start while using 3500W generator. Back to the drawing board I suppose.

This is what you need to hard start a slow start A/C compressor
Add this capacitor to your A/C unit to make the compressor have a higher energy boost and start up easier.

Dometic starting cap replacement
Easy install. AC starts like new! Now the generator doesn't stumble when the compressor turns on.

Helps the A/C
In south Florida we have a lot of brown outs and this helps the compressor restart.
