The watch is featured in a titanium protective case that guards the quartz movement from damage. This Citizen watch for men is also water-resistant at pressures equivalent to 200 meters in depth. This means that you can wear this watch while you are swimming, bathing, or snorkeling with no problems at all, although you should avoid wearing it when scuba diving.This Citizen A-T AT4010-50E watch features a quality solar powered Eco-Drive system. This perpetual power system has saved an estimated 10 million batteries in America alone. The Eco-Drive works by placing solar collectors under the translucent face of the dial. The watch includes a reserve battery in case it goes more than 180 days without receiving sufficient daylight to recharge. A low-battery reserve indicator will show in the unlikely occurrence that it sits in darkness for too long.In addition to their innovative power supply, all Citizen watches feature notable advances in timekeeping. The clock and the perpetual calendar are both radio controlled, which means that they are always perfectly in synchronization across five time zones and other dates like daylight savings time. This is called the atomic timekeeping system and it works all across Europe, North America, and Japan.These Citizen watches include an integral 1-second chronograph that can measure as long as 60 minutes. The outer ring of the dial has tachymeter markings for convenient estimation of distance and average speed. The luminous white chronograph hour, minute, and second hands are all high contrast and easy to read. There is an alarm function as well as a number of other programmable operations.The solar-powered Eco-Drive and the water-resistant titanium case mean that this is a fantastic watch for outdoor men. After all, the Citizen A-T AT4010-50E never needs to have its time adjusted, and it never runs out of batteries. The case is stronger than steel and the dial is made of a piece of sapphire.     Almost the perfect watch and at a bargain price

    Key features are: 1. Solar powered Eco drive - never replace a battery. 2. Super hard DLC (diamond like carbon) coated titanium makes it 40% lighter than stainless steel yet 5 times harder and more scratch resistant. 3. Sapphire glass is highly scratch resistant. 4. Radio controlled for atomic accuracy. 5. Perpetual date. 6. Water resistant to 200m. Only minor downsides are: 1. Chronograph only accurate to 1 sec. 2. Radio controlled rather than GPS time. 3. Just 5 supplied time zones. 4. Big date would be great - though Citizen don't seem to do this. Competitor watches like Seiko rarely combine all these features least of all at this price point.

    Awesome Entry Level Watch

    Awesome entry level watch. The titanium makes it super lightweight. The Small blue bands around the two outside buttons along with the time zone needle really pop on the black and chrome background. The watch is easy to read and there isn't too much going on which I believe makes a watch an eyesore. It also doesn't look to fancy which I like, because most fancy looking watches are pretty cheap. The watch doesn't scratch easily and if it does it can be polished out. Its not too big either which is great for me because I don't have the most robust wrists in the world. The watch glows bright at night. There are a lot of nice features such as the watch self corrects itself at 2:00am. You can also switch time zones quickly and easily which is sweet for traveling places. I wear this watch to my ...

    Great watch, worth every penny

    This watch is great, very stylish and sleek packed with features. I'm not really a guy who uses features, but it's great to know they are there! A few small things to keep in mind. FULLY charge the watch before attempting to set it. Running the signal and automatic setting takes a lot of juice. If you do not line in one the 5 timezones you need to first let the watch automatically update to the time zone nearest to you, and then set to A-TM and set your local time. The date and day are not settable manually so you need that automatic update to get this on track. It confuses me however that the second atomic radio clock it gets its signals from is in Germany, but it doesn't have a German (CET/CEST) time setting.

    Lightweight watch, nice features.

    Can't say enough about this watch. Multiple time zones, titanium, radio controlled, perpetual calendar, solar powered, chronometer, day and date, charge level indicator, 24 hour clock AND eye appeal. The band even has 1/2 links for best fit. If you adjust the band yourself, beware. There are tiny little bushings that fall out and are easily lost. Without them the pins can slide out and the watch falls off.

    Great watch, very light

    I bought this watch after having an AT 4004 for a year. Love this style watch, looks complex, but is easy to read and dials are clear, even in dark. The automated time update and solar battery are great for low maintenance. I wanted this one b/c I figured Titanium would be nice and light for everyday wear. That's exactly what this watch is...about half the weight of the stainless steel version I have. Lighter then some of my smaller watches. Great for golf where a heavier watch can be bothersome. Great watch for daily, all day wearing, and it's always charged, and date/time is always correct. Love It. My only wish is that it came in different colors with the titanium case/band.
