Sorely needs a real ADF
This multi-function printer from HP is fairly easy to set up and has most of the functionality that one would expect from a unit at its price-point. The print quality is pretty good and it's got a document feeder which is a must. The reason that I gave this printer a 2-star rating is due to what HP refers to as "auto-duplexing." I ordered this printer specifically because it had this feature (my current printers do not) thinking that it referred to printing, copying and scanning. Little did I know that auto-duplexing is only applicable to printing. In order to duplex anything loaded into the ADF, one must scan or copy one side of the page/stack and then turn it over and do the same to the other side. Absolutely a major impediment and now I'm stuck with a printer that I don't need and still ... Go smart--go HP Laser Jet!
HP Laser Jet printers work right now. No ink tanks, no dried up ink wells or jets, no smearing, no leaking, no more paying for parts that cost nearly as much as the printer did in the first place. Whether it was a minute, or a month, touch an HP Laser Jet and it works right now and just as good quality as you will likely EVER need. I will never go back to inkjet printers again. HP M281fdw (refurbished)
Printer was packaged very well & arrived few days early. No manuals, as expected, but everything is online. Only concern is that just before it prints it makes a loud noise, as if something is in the way of something else. Print quality is good but not great, but it's not for pictures. Overall a good purchase.

EXCELLENT Home Office Color Laser Printer!
I am so impressed by this printer! I'll never go back to an inkjet again. This printer was so easy to connect to our wifi and print from. The most impressive thing I have come across, so far, is the quality of the color print. In all of my research for a home office color laser printer this particular printer was rated the best for picture quality and boy were they spot on! I've also printed from both laptops, desktop, and from my Samsung Galaxy 8+ with ease. Thank you, Canon, for making a GREAT printer for my home office!I am so impressed by this printer! I'll never go back to an inkjet again. This printer was so easy to connect to our wifi and print from. The most impressive thing I have come across, so far, is the quality of the color print.
