After the sudden death of his wife, successful Manhattan surgeon Andrew Brown (Treat Williams) uproots his family and medical practice to Everwood, Colorado, a small mountain town with sentimental connections to his dead wife. Created by Greg Berlanti, writer for teen series DAWSON'S CREEK and YOUNG AMERICANS, Everwood is a warm family drama that explores the grieving process and the pangs of adolescence with intelligence, sensitivity, and a bucolic fish-out-of-water atmosphere reminiscent of the late great NORTHERN EXPOSURE.     Family values versus Christian values

    This series is well written and well done! It is very entertaining with great casting. When it comes to Christian values, it lags behind pretty much. While it mentions God and Jesus briefly, it gives Him no honor or very little. Get the impression was written by someone who does not really know God at all. While it does not exactly accept abortion, it does condone it at bottom line. The views on homosexuality are definitely pagan views. It paints vile Planned Parenthood as something good. These issues take up only a few episodes, however. Other than that, it is an excellent series. would give this series 5 stars if I were not a Christian. As it is, can still give it 4 since shows with good Christian values are pretty much nonexistent.

    The idiots

    This show is very good, has lots of intrigue and it makes you think that everybody on this show are idiots. They are constantly doing foolish things but in the long run it is a very good movie.

    Teenage Angst Dream Show

    I bought this because Chris Pratt is in it, and I wanted my nieces to experience the joy of Everwood, a show I loved in college. I watched the first episode with them and remembered just how emotional and angsty Ephraim is! It's hilarious! I can't wait to rewatch the whole season! The DVD packaging was fine, so far no problems with the discs and a much better value than anywhere else I could find!

    heartwarming show

    Found myself trying to hold back the tears as this father and his 2 children learn to live without their mom. Very smalltown feel, and extremely engaging making you not want to stop watching
