    Unfortunately I never received books, but it wasn’t seller’s fault. Tracking info proved items were honestly mailed out on time, so either postal service lost/mis-delivered package or it was stolen from my building mailroom. Whatever the case, seller gave me a full refund. I really appreciate them making it right & although I bought the books I wanted elsewhere, this seller is aboveboard & can be trusted & I’d buy from them again.

    An unvarnished, realistic view of WWI from the eyes of a man who was a part of that historitcal event.

    Used books are such a great item to purchase. New or used, you get the same content! this item was in great shape, the price was exceedingly fair. Just a great deal all the way around.

    Great book could have been great!

    Book came underlined, written on many papers, etc. Should have gotten more expensive one. My problem, not yours. Looks like great writing.

    Not a boring book about war and old people

    Forced to read in school for a class, I was expecting a boring war book. Was surprised by the depth of character development and by some of the harder to swallow truths of war. The characters were my age at the time. I remember returning to class the day we had been assigned to read the one scene—if you’ve read it, you know the one—we all sat down in complete silence, only looked at each other to say WOW we were not prepared for that. Right in the feels.

    Wow.

    By far the best book I have ever read. It's a chilling masterpiece and an extremely sad account of the savagery these young men had to endure. Anyone even mildly interested in history or in the darkness of humanity will find this book heartbreaking, yet breathstopping.
