The Rebel Is Excellent!
One of the best shows ever made! Every episode is written with excellent quality and the actors are awesome! Nick Adams who stars as The Rebel plays the part in such a way that every episode is exciting and thrilling! I highly recommend this show! TV at it's best! Dan Robertson Wichita, Kansas

Wonderful and entertaining!! An 11!!
This tv series is very exciting! It has nonstop action from beginning to end and we love the theme song by Johnny Cash! We had a great experience from beginning to end!! It didn't take long from time I ordered it till I received it!! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!! Will be buying from you again!!

Tv western back in the day
Western drama with lots of stars and great lot of up and comeing stars nice story line s B&W these people could act not like the clowns today

WJ's The Rebel Review
The Rebel Complete Series was an excellent value, it was very entertaining, and I would say the characters were very engaging for the time period the show were filmed. I saw some of The Rebel shows when I was growing up and I couldn't believe in todays world The Rebel Complete Series was offered for sale. Loved watching all the shows. I appreciate this series being offered. Thanks. WJ.

A great western series.
This is well written and acted old tv series that's not available through any streaming service I'm aware of. It is only available on DVD, which are made off available prints and not original negatives. The DVD producers stipulate this on an initial screen to the viewers. It seems there are no negative mastered DVD's on a lot of old shows. The set is well worth purchasing, it's quite entertaining, and includes numerous great bonuses.

A classic series! Too bad "political correctness" has ruined not having a series like this today.
The only reason I didn't give a 5-star rating is due to the mediocre film quality on some of the episodes. Unlike the reruns that some "oldie" TV stations show, these DVDs come complete with Johnny Cash singing 'The Rebel' song at the intro, and ending of each episode--just as I remembered it. Nick Adams is great in his portrayal of the loner Rebel soldier, and it's refreshing to see a former Confederate Soldier shown in a positive light, instead of all the "racist" garbage being touted today for anything Confederate-related! Am thoroughly enjoying watching these old episodes, and highly recommend them to anyone!

Well written and engaging series
The Nick Adams character is like Jack London, a writer who travels the frontier in search of literary material for his writing. The series is well written with interesting people and challenging plots. It is definitely a cut above the average western shows of that era. The stories do not get stale and the series holds up well.

Johnny Yuma was a rebel... say no more.
Johnny Yuma was a veteran of the Civil War who saw the futility of war - ahead of the anti-war sentiment so prevalent 10 years later. Produced at a time when the pen was still mightier than the sword and not under the influence of the sword, Yuma was a writer and his writing book was his most valued possession. Nick Adams gave the character the right edgy persona - that got him in and out trouble in his travels across the post Civil War west. Obviously - not up to modern production standards but the stories hold up well.

BUY this Set!!!
This is a Great Value!!! I saw these episodes of The Rebel for the first time 60 years ago when I was 6 years old. And they still look Great to Me!!! Also Johnny Cash singing the theme song is Awesome!!!
