    Toshiba Recorder

    Having nought one of these new back in 2010 it worked great for the first year, then the problems started---clicking turning itself off, sorted that out faulty diode, then hard drive would nor record, replaced that, then the VCR side packed in, dirty mode switch which when taken apart is a pain in the neck to get back together correctly. I can understand all this if it was used constantly but only ever recorder the odd programme when Sky box couldn't and only used the VCR and DVD to transfer a few tapes to keep them good, the worst problem for me is the fan noise when you leave it in standby ready to record. it seemed a good idea to have all 3 products in one but now it seems not such a good idea and have now bought a DVD with hard drive and just hook up a VHS player when needed much ...

    Suits and matches other entertainment appliances

    I believe having free time and the owners manual is the key to using this product if you do not have experience with electronic entertainment etc once read use makes more sense and becomes easier. It helps also to have the manual for you TV. I am pleased with this product.

    Toshiba RDXV59

    Hello. Since approximately 2008 I have had 2 RDXV60's which I worked very hard This is the first RDXV59. but according to what I understand the only difference is the 60 as a 500gb hard drive & the 59 as a 250gb hard drive. But if this item is half as good as the 60 it will still be an amazing matchine. When i recieved it, it was in lovely condition not a scratch on it. It had been used but as far as I could see the last recording was in 2013. I checked everything and it all works perfectly. Its like new. Great item. Regards AL

    Toshiba Recorder - replaces my faulty Toshiba

    Purchased this second hand recorder to replace my old Toshiba which recently stopped working. I am happy with my purchase - this product has an HDMI connection and has been refurbished with 30 day warranty. Every thing works ok - just need to sort out the Freeview. I can now watch my old VHS tapes, CDs and DVDs - it is a shame these machines are no longer made

    did the job

    It has done what we asked of it very well only one slight problem is that it kept hold of some of the tapes when ejected and corsed some minor damage.
