    Until the day that an special edition comes, Noel's first CD release will happily more than make do.

    A simple release. Maybe too simple. No lyric sheet, no glossy pin-up style pics. And yet I find the music to more than make up for it. Noel's eponymous album contains his two of his biggest hits (as I've heard in many a mix and air play on the classic radio station). Despite only having 9 tracks, they aren't terribly long or unexpectedly short. The album feels longer than that. It all just flows. There's only one track that's just slow enough to be considered a ballad. Maybe I'm biased, but the album feels much more well put together than other releases from the time period that sound cheaper, chintzier, anemic and ultimately forgettable. This album deserves a special edition release, with extended versions, mixes, dubs and even instrumentals. Others have. Bonus if an accompanying ...
