As good as a lens gets
It's a Sony GM. Need I say more? Yes. It's a true gem. It completes my "Holy Trinity" of lenses (Sigma Art series 24-70mm f/2.8 and Sigma Art series 85mm f/1.4). It creates a gorgeous image with my Sony α7R IVA. The only problem I have is not with the lens (this or my other two), but with the unreliable autofocus of the camera. I thought it was just those Sigma lenses, but it's a problem even with this beast. If the camera cooperates, the images with this lens are at the pro level I need and expect. I must caution that this is a heavy lens. You don't exactly hold it; it's more like you heave it. It's also big. I bought a large-size camera bag so I could carry all three of my lenses along with my camera everywhere I go, but the bag isn't big enough to fit this one in with the other two, so I'm prowling around on eBay for a bigger bag. In summary, yes, this lens will set you back a few months' rent and maybe a few meals, but it's worth it if you want the best.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Best 70-200 on the market!
Got a good deal on a great lens. eBay saved me a couple hundred compared to going to a camera store. The lens is pure professional. Image quality is outstanding. Great lens and some free stuff too!
this lens is universally praised by pretty much everyone. i like that the lens doesn't physically get larger or smaller when zooming - everything is internal. the lens came with a lot of extras for the same price as i could have bought it elsewhere. some of the extras aren't worth much but a 64GB memory card alone makes it a great deal. a lens hood is one of the extras, but the lens comes with one already. also comes with 3 filters which i have yet to use. the lens bag is too small for the lens but it doesn't matter as the lens is packaged with a much better lens bag anyway. comes with some software but i suspect if you are buying this lens, you aren't a beginner and already have a good program you use to edit your photos.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

A lens that you get what you pay for with.
If you can get this lens for around $2,000 then it is a fantastic deal and value for money. I pair this lens with a Sony a7R IV and a Sony a7 III and the bokeh is fantastic. Overall image quality is what one would expect for a lens this expensive. It focuses fast and silently. Amazing Lens
Although this lens is expensive, it is the best lens I’ve ever used (I rented it first and hated to part with it). It’s sharp all the way through the zoom range and the f2.8 helps in low lit environments like dance competitions/exhibitions (which is what I originally used it for). My clients were very pleased with the pictures. Finally, a lens that is equal to the A7RII
This is a great lens. This lens is able to fully exploit the quality of the A7RII. The image quality from this lens is superior to the current Canon equivalent on an adapter. Focus speed is great and the color rendering excellent! My only regret is that I didn't step up and buy this lens earlier. Insanely sharp lens
Just upgraded from the Sony 70-200 F4. This thing is so nice! Much faster and sharper than the F4. It’s also much heavier... this is a 82mm element vs the 72mm on the F4. Big bulky but to me very much worth the weight to gain sharpness and speed.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
