Great product so far, 👍 👍
So far it has lived up to it's great reputation and has replaced my old Leupold which started getting glitchy after about 8 years... I use it solely for bow hunting but can see it would have many other uses. The belt clip comes in more handy than expected for early season when I'm actually wearing a belt I can reach easily and when practicing in the off season.

the best rangefnder on the planet!!
The Vortex Ranger 1800 is simple to use but most of all it is made for hunters it is compact is ergonomic has all the features and more and above all else is has a lifetime warranty with no stupid questions asked, no receipt, no product registration the dway tings should be!!!

Vortex Rangefinder
The rangefinder looks well made and includes a tripod mount built in. It is difficult to get accurate readings. The buttons are not easy to depress which causes movement while you try to view an object. So far I get inconsistent results so I am not very pleased with it.

You need this for long range hunts or target shooting

Doesn't range at 900 yards, as it should.
My Ranger 1800 isn't able to range more than 650 meters on a sunny day on non reflective targets. The good thing is that I claimed the warranty, and Vortex reacted immediately sending me a knew one, who is on the way.
