Happy Gilmore
The hapless underdog hockey player turned golfer ... it's a pretty crude movie, but if you like Adam Sandler, this, IMHO is his funniest movie. The characters are broad and the plot is somewhat predictable, but for sheer laughs, you can't get much funnier than Happy Gilmore fighting Bob Barker in a classic scene, where 80 year old Barker gets the best of a 25 year old Gilmore! If you're looking for a diversion or some quick laughs, this is the movie to watch ... whenever I need a laugh I put this movie on and by the end of it I feel much better for having laughed out loud ... Funny little story
