Does not stand the test of time
This film came amidst a flow of sword and sandal and sorcery films of the 1980s but this one fails to make the grade. It has its good points such as the bat-like creatures that dissolve their victims by wrapping them in their leathery wings;and the cinematography was good for the filming locations, but otherwise the film was a let-down. The actors had no real chemistry between them, the fight scenes were poorly choreographed and overall the film just lacked excitement. A little over rated
This film is entertaining but the violence and nudity is very tame and the story very cheesy. The character/hero is based more on the hero from the Boris fantasy art rather than Canon. Just Excellent
