Excellent acting and possible scenario…
Thinking of the great patriot major general Smedley Butler who stated: "War is never fought for freedom. War is fought for the rich." "I spent 33 years and four months In active military service and during that period I spent most of my time as a high-class muscle man for big business, for Wall Street and the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism." Our true to life hero was approached to lead "an army" of 500,000 former serviceman to overwhelm Washington DC and install fascist leaders which was supported by the rabid radical right wing business community... Fortunately, this great soldier revealed the plot and stopped the illegal takeover of the US government. He wrote a short book which everybody should read titled "war is a racket." This movie reminds me of this wickedness. Thank God for real patriots! Thank you Smedley Butler!

Great Movie and excellent price and service
Fabulous sixties' cold war picture," the picture President Kennedy wanted made." The Pentagon was not happy and did not cooperate. All star cast, from Frederic March to Ava Gardner and Kirk Douglas. Wonderful script by Rod Serling . It is a gripping thriller that is relevant today yet without violence, gore or gratuitous sex. Best of all is the good guys win.

Forgotten classic discovered again!
Fantastic story and actors telling a tale that could be today, but was made nearly sixty years ago! One of John Frankenheimer's great films. Worth a viewing from anyone who likes a riveting story.

Well worth your time to watch!!
A wonderful drama that is so realistic even today with what’s going on in the world. They did a remake of this movie with Forrest Whittaker and very true to the original.

Great attention getter and summarizes the span of time covered in the movie.
Excellent plot, acting and directing. Even though it was made in the early 1960's the theme is still relevant today.
