These stones—supposed to be Swarovski Crystals—are painted glass or acrylic, not real crystals! Jay Strongwater never used painted stones; his ornaments feature genuine Swarovski Crystals made with a unique process. This is not a genuine JSW ornament but a sloppy copy with an authentic cap and charm glued on messily. One can buy cheap copies from companies like Bijou By Stats of the same poor quality, new!

The dust jacket had some dents and minor scratches but it's barely noticeable unless you look really close. Shipping was quick and it arrived within a week of purchasing. It was packed very well with bubble wrap and crumpled paper to cushion the book in the box that it came in. All in all, a great shopping experience!!
