However, despite a slightly padded shipping envelope, the earrings were in no way wrapped or padded within that envelope. Thus, on their arrival, both posts were bent at about a 45-degree angle. It's distressing that the posts will be weakened (or possibly snap off) when I try to straighten them. I haven't had an issue with that before and I ship in the little padded 6x4 envelopes all the time, but in the future I'll keep that in mind! I used to work at a store that sold used clothes/jewelry and I have always fixed those with a pair of jewelry, flat nosed plyers and a slow pinch
