Released in 2012, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is an innovative sequel that marks a dark departure from its predecessor. This XBox 360 RPG follows the adventures of a genetically mutated monster hunter, Geralt of Rivia. Geralt is a witcher, one of the last of his kind, who was abandoned as a child. The Witcher 2 takes place in a dark, medieval fantasy world during a time of war and upheaval. The main character must go on a quest to discover who is trying to assassinate the kings of the land. Players fight monsters and demons while also navigating political intrigue.The first installment of The Witcher series debuted in 2007. It was developed by a lesser-known Polish studio, CD Projekt RED. Based on a series of fantasy novels written by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, the games are action-based role-playing titles. The sequel opens with a prologue that explains some of the events that occurred in the first installment. It also offers preparation for the complex combat elements of the game. Gamers should have no problem diving into the action even if they have never played the original title. Seasoned gamers celebrate The Witcher 2 for its impressive array of tools, weapons, skills, and abilities. Another much-loved feature is the challenging stealth mode that requires players to clear an obstacle undetected. Geralt carries two swords that gamers can use to defeat foes. The silver one is used to fight monsters, and the steel one is used in all other circumstances. Other weapons in his arsenal include bombs and hatchets. The main character can also drink potions in order to gain magical powers that are useful in combat. Fans also love the game's finely detailed fantasy world and beautiful graphics. There are a variety of impressively rendered settings, including caves, dungeons, towns, ancient cities, and forests. Characterization is another major strength. Gamers encounter a diverse cast of characters, all of whom have distinct motivations that help create a complex plot. Throughout the game, there are a number of decisions to make that will impact later outcomes, so the gaming experience feels personalized. This XBox 360 game boasts an extensive Enhanced Edition. It has 10GB of bonus content, including four hours of game play, which includes several new quests. This version also includes an arena mode and a tutorial. The 36 minutes of cinematics expand the story and help new fans gain more of an understanding of the events leading up to the sequel. In addition, developers fixed some bugs that were present in the original release. All of these upgrades improve upon an already fantastic player experience.On its release, the Witcher 2 was lauded for its amazing graphics, engaging story, and fast-paced action. It went on to win over 50 video game awards and became extremely popular among both XBox and PC gamers. As of 2014, it sold 8 million copies worldwide.

But if you are a collector worried about shipping and such, my Game Boy game was sent via a paper envelope (for letters), no padding, no game case, and a small tear in the envelope, BUT seller did make sure to tape the game inside (nice touch) in case it would fall out due to the tear. The packaging didn't bother me due to low price of item. Overall, a great experience nonetheless! A+++

I'd have much preferred it had been packaged in a box with bubble wrap but probably trying to save money on shipping Price was a little high compared to price charting without even including the shipping, but it was the cheapest one on ebay so good enough I guess. I did try and negotiate the price to get it down to the price charting price but the seller was unwilling to budge. Everything else was as described in the listing.

My only gripe was the boxed NES game was packaged in a bubble mailer within another bubble mailer. This didn't prevent the box from getting slightly crushed during shipping.
