Stephanie Zimbalist costars as Laura Holt, a beautiful private eye trying to get her business off the ground. Unfortunately, she finds that female P.I.s don't receive a lot of business, so she invents a male superior called Remington Steele and renames her business after him. Suddenly cases come pouring in, but Laura soon finds herself confronted by a handsome thief who calls himself the "real" Remington Steele and cons her into a partnership in which she does the work and he takes the bows. This works well for business purposes, but the two are constantly at odds, creating an exciting sexual tension and much opportunity for humor � la another beloved '80s relic, MOONLIGHTING. Nostalgia

Great Dvd of Classic Televison Show Remington Steele
Remington Steele is best known for having launched the career of Pierce Brosnan and was the 1st drama to have the will they want they style drama TV show that is so prevalent today. Absolute favorite 80's show
This show was and is amazing. This was released from 1982 to 1987 and showcased a young Pierce Brosnan before he became James Bond and the star of the remake "The Thomas Crown Affair." Stephanie Zimbalist is delightful as the female private investigator who invented Remington Steele as a fictitious boss because women were still breaking into men's careers and people were passing her by for male private investigators. Then he shows up and suddenly "she does the work while he takes the bows!" The show has humor, danger, conflict between the sexes, romance and intelligent material. Plus it's nice to see the glamorous 1980's again where people never heard of wearing jeans to work. Needed to see season five to see how this show ended. When it aired years ago it was a great show and in season five things were very hectic and never saw the ending . Enjoyable and Entertaining
