Mortdecai (Blu-ray Disc, 2015)
I like Johnny Depp. Loved him in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Also, The Lone Ranger, Dark Shadows and Transcendence. Some of his other movies, not so much. Mortdecai portrays a snobbish, aristocratic Englishman (Johnny Depp), his beautiful wife (Gwyneth Paltrow) and his man-servant (Paul Bettany). The movie shows Mortdecai being solicited by the British Government to recover a stolen, priceless painting. Mortdecai is recruited due to his history of nefarious business dealings in the art world and that he is financially, legally and morally bankrupt. Most of the movie involves the trio chasing down the painting and, almost, evading the bad guys. The movie is probably more silly than funny but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very funny, Ewan McGregor makes it really funny.
If you like Johnny Depp it's a good movie but Ewan McGregor makes it very funny. I bought the DVD so I could watch it a few times because the English accents are sometimes hard to follow.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
