Product Information

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 follows in the same speedy footsteps as its well-regarded predecessor, Sonic the Hedgehog. Once again, players run, jump, and spin the blue hedgehog through a bizarre world of metal robots created by Dr. Robotnik, avoiding obstacles, trouncing enemies, and collecting rings and the elusive Chaos Emeralds (earning all seven emeralds turns Sonic into Super Sonic). While the basic action remains essentially the same, the levels are longer, the colors are brighter and more varied, all the zones are new, and the game introduces a new character: Tails the fox. In the standard game, Tails simply follows along, helping collect rings and defeating the occasional enemy, but he is a playable character in the special two-player split-screen race mode. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 also introduces a new move (the Spin Dash) and a new special stage: a challenging, pseudo-3D race through tubes to collect rings.

    Shipped right away, very well packaged (didn't skimp on the bubble wrap), looks just like the pictures and the description, and really a great value for the price. I'm really glad I bought from this seller. It was 44% of retail price for the same doll (not including shipping, but shipping price was reasonable), and the seller didn't hide the (completely repairable) state of the hair. I would definitely buy from this seller again.

    It was delivered on time. Putter was listed as right handed but pictured as left hand. I contacted the seller and was told it is left hand. I wasn’t impressed with the packaging but the putter was in really good shape! Excellent value!

    Iconic for a Reason

    Sonic 2, the most speed based of the Genesis trilogy, is a vast improvement on the already great formula from the first game. I haven't quite beaten this one yet but I've seen most of the game and I can tell you it's a lot of fun. And you can keep playing over and over and over. It's timeless and has held up well over the years.

    Arguably the best game on the sega

    Sonic 2 is a worthy sequel to its masterpiece first game. Both are actually very good and are must have for sega owners. This game is faced paced, has excellent side scrolling gameplay and music. The graphics are superb and is basically the mario of sega. This game added tails to the game to be sonics sidekick in the game which allows for two people to play.

    A masterpiece

    This game has so many levels/zones, its a much bigger game than the first sonic which is also a great game, i love this game, i beat it atleast once a year

    Very pleased!!!

    Came with all the manuels and sega cd advertisement bookler that ended up being the sega genisis jurassic park poster, was very pleased, especially the extea effort for the thank you card that was sent with the game.
