Great communication and super fast shipping A+++, as always shipping from Japan seems to always out pace our domestic USPS shipping speed. The Audio Technica AT-650 SUT was packaged with great care, lots of padding w/ bubble wrap, wrapped tightly and boxed. Haven't tested the unit, but everything seems to be in working order as described.

Firstly ill admit i was skeptical when i saw the 100% rating, however they deserve it wholeheartedly. The product i got from them not only matched the description 100% but also shipped surprisingly quickly. It was also very well packaged into a nice small bag, and on too of it all it came with alot of things for the price. They also were very helpful when it came to questions and even offered to cancel the order when the walkman wasn’t able to translate to English. I would give over five stars.

Suitable for studio and stage
Although my MIDI keyboard has been getting the job done for years, the EWI5000 has taken data capture to a new level. Expression control is amazing! The instrument has a good variety of sounds on-board and the wireless feature seems to be perfect for live performance. I'll probably use the instrument as a Midi controller most of the time, but I could absolutely enjoy this device in a performance setting. Learning the fingerings takes a little bit of time, so allow a couple of weeks to become familiar with it. And plan to spend some time getting comfortable with seven (!) octave keys. The price was right for me and I received the instrument quickly and in good condition. However there are a few things I would say to anyone considering this instrument: I've been aware of the EWI series since Michael Brecker began playing the instrument many years ago. I think Sax players were fascinated by it; they could now make weird sounds like the electric guitar players. I decided on ordering the EWI 5000 for three reasons: A) I now live in an apartment and cannot play any loud instruments. B) the software has advanced for enough that it actually sounds like certain instruments, i.e. Clarinet, Harmonica, Tenor Sax and a few others. C) I was first chair trumpet in high school band, could play all the Herbert Clarke solos of old and I noticed that on the latest EWI it could ... The price was right for me and I received the instrument quickly and in good condition. However there are a few things I would say to anyone considering this instrument: I've been aware of the EWI series since Michael Brecker began playing the instrument many years ago. Right away, I realized using the brass fingerings was a nightmare. I have played sax a little over the years and looked at those fingerings. I opted to go with the standard EWI 5000 fingerings and quickly learned to play the C scale and then the chromatic. This proved to be much easier than trying to use the awkward brass valve fingerings. So I dug out my old Arban Edition for trumpet and was delighted to see that it could be used for reed instruments as well. I'm now playing the beginning exercises in the book and can play several jazz "standards" by ear. I'm slowly reading all the instructions from the manual I downloaded from the Akai site. I use head phones to practice and also sometimes play through a small amp. It would probably be very difficult for someone with no musical instrument experience to learn to play the EWI 5000 without an instructor. However, it suits my needs well and gives me an artistic avenue to explore in my retirement years. I am 72 years old.

Learning us a goid challenge. Thecwireless module can be plugged anywhere next to a Bluetooth speaker or amp. Then from the wireless audio output I used a 1/4 to 3/8 jack adapter. Then I plugged in a 3/8 TRS cable to the Bluetooth input. BAM! THE onboard EWI sounds came easy. You can't blast GarageBand sounds through the wireless module. You'll have to use the Bluetooth adapter and choose that as a midi input inside of GarageBand. Learning us a goid challenge.
