Best Price and Value - I own two of them
This is the second one I purchased. The first is used exclusively for the music room for my acoustic guitars. The controls allowing to set the humidity and the auto shutoff feature saves a lot of time filling up the tank, replenishing the water supply. It also comes with wheels making it easy to move when the floors need cleaning. The price and value cannot be beat. Highly recommend.

Extremely Disappointed & Regretful
There is not much to setting up this humidifier. The water bottle is easy to fill at your double basin kitchen sink. The humidifier worked fine for the first two weeks humidifying our 3,200sf home whcih did require frequent bottle refills. The humidifier also had to be ran at the #3 speed setting. Alaska is very dry indoors during the winter. However, after the first 7 days of use, the humidifier stopped humidifying. The first reason is the water bottle failed to keep the reservoir filled even though it was placed correctly in in the humidifier. I discovered that by placing (3) 1/4" dowl rods along the top edge that it elevated the water bottle foot valve just enough to allow the reservoir to keep a sizeable water level. The wick on the other hand had dried out. Moving it into the bath tub to "re-hydrate" it helped for almost 5 days after which, the wick was almost totally dried out again. The only part of the wick that absorbs water is the bottom 1 inch Our humidity level RARELY reaches 35% with this humidifier and that is from readings from (2) separate hygrometers. The unit is plastic, not surprising. It is very flimsy not really worth the $280 I had to pay for it to get it shipped here. Dealing with the Aircare people in the beginning before purchase was not help as their goal is to simply sell. There is only one outlet I was able to find that sells console humidifers and all they sell are the individual room size - less than 500sf and then they are pricing at $100+. All in all, I WOULD NOT recommend this product. Too bad Aircare is about the only one that makes house size console humidifiers.

Works great!
I live in the dry Rocky Mountain area where the humidity level can be as low as 8 percent. When I moved here I started having sinus problems. My doctor recommended humidifiers. I had two for years, and decided to add a third. Other than the noise, this model works well. I have it set at 40 percent humidity, so I have to refill it twice a day depending on how long I run it, usually 8-10 hours in the large part of the house. In the bedroom one full will last 2 days. The filters dry out and have to be replaced every 1 to 2 months.

Good Room Humidifier!
I have used 2 others for 11 years and have had no problems! The one just purchase worked as expected right out of the box! Although there are different company names on the three that I have (Aircare, Moist Air, Bemis/ Essick) they all work and perform the same.

Great product.
It does a great job. The tank is easy to fill. It is noisy if you put the fan speed on high but they are all that way.

Unit works great

A great Home Humdifier
This is my second purchase of this particular humidifier. The original one still works fine after 5 years. I bought this one as a backup. We live in an extremely dry climate that is hard on wood flooring and wood work. I highly recommend this humidifier.
