    Brilliant for adding inexpensive, nutritious and flavourful plant-based meals, using lentils, grains and spices for anyone on a tight budget.

    Excellent recipes which are easy to follow and require only a few ingredients which are not kitchen staples. One trip to an Middle East grocery store to stock up on items like pomegranate molasses, Za'atar, Sumac, tahini, pine nuts, orange flower water and industrial quantities of ground Cumin will be economical as only tiny jars at high prices are on supermarket shelves.

    Mouthwatering recipes

    My other half bought a copy of this book for his father for Christmas. The recipes sounded so tasty and the illustrations are gorgeous. I bought one for myself. Lovely salads with pomegranate. Tasty stews. The recipes seem huge e.g. a chocolate brownie mix with 12 eggs. Good if you have a lot of people to cater for. I plan to divide all quantities by 4.

    My favourite recipe book!

    Delicious recipes, both vegetarian/vegan or meat/fish but the latter easily adapted. Easy uncomplicated preparation!
