At first I thought the container was defective because I had a hard time opening it (almost broke it) until I realized it was taped shut. Same with the marker and had to find something to remove the sticky residue off both of them. Maybe using a little Washi tape would work better if you worry about the ink pad opening or leaking and you can see the Washi tape better :)
