EA Games makes an offer it hopes fans of Mafioso mythology cannot refuse, in this video game translation of the award-winning 1972 Francis Ford Coppola film. Players take the role of a small-time thug, newly inducted into the Corleone family and looking to make it big. By running missions for the family in the game's rendition of 1940s New York City, players can earn the respect of the family and be promoted to positions of power and influence in the organization. The game is designed to track the player's decisions and interactions throughout the criminal career, such that NPCs will remember how they were treated in the past and react appropriately in future dealings. In order to encourage players to truly take on the role of their own Corleone henchman, EA Games' The Godfather offers a "MobFace" custom character creator which allows for adjustment of physique, facial features, and attire. All other major characters featured in the game are voiced by the actors who played them in the movie, including Marlon Brando (posthumously) as Don Vito Corleone, James Caan as Sonny Corleone, and Robert Duvall as consigliere Tom Hagen.

    They didn't send me the one that was pictured Even after stating it was the last one .this one they sent me is , looks useless, missing screws and its chipped on the sides of the breaker seems pictures I paid good money for this and I didn't even used the best offer I paid what they ask I should be getting what they picture and stated it was the last one .very disappointed. This is the reason for the low feedback. The appearance of this breaker looks like it won't last .

    Very cool hours of fun and great replay value

    This is all based on the time early mid 2000s as for graphics should have had 480p support did not. Also I am happy with this version but only adds collector value its the basic game with fancy case cover and a dvd video not real changes. This is probably one of the best open world crime games around and has cool tie ins.

    Gave me the a super nostalgic feel remembers me when I was a kid first playing this game not the best graphics but what you say it’s an old console still really amazing !!

    Highly recommended!

    A deep engaging open-world game that will keep you playing for many hours. It is a classic, much like the movie it's based on.
