    Good content, well explained

    This book is well explained and illustrated. It is my go-to book for drawing. I got this book as a child and just bought another for my grandson who is 12 - he was using mine and was doing so well with it, I felt he should have his own! It is by far the best for overall teaching I've seen - details, diagrams, proportions, perspective, musculature, etc. I recommend anyone wanted to really learn about drawing, young or old, to get and use this book, as it is well worth it.

    Straight Forward Good Product

    Product is exactly what I am looking for in a sketching/drawing reference. Basic, clear, easy to follow examples without a lot of fluff.

    A great general reference

    While there are some "step by step" sections like the ones printed on the back cover, this book is mostly filled with anatomical diagrams and general notes and pointers on animal anatomy: Bones, muscles, locomotion, gestures and poses, differences between species within in animal family, etc. It's not hard to imagine an artist using this as a quick reference in a pre-internet age.

    How To Draw Animals

    This is an excellent book for the beginning artist as well as the advanced artist. It is so explanatory and fun to use! Anyone who loves to draw animals should have one because it really does help to explain what to do and how to draw showing expressions and reality of animals.

    Must have!!!!

    Hamm is by far one of THE BEST. Ive purchased all his books, they have SO MUCH fantastic usable information. Doesnt matter how old this book is, the info is perfect.
