Watering donut
I would not recommend this product. It will not fit easily around trees with low hanging branches. The filler plug is very hard to close. Also the drip spouts align about 5 inches away from the target watering spot which would be next to the tree trunk.

So far so good! Hope is alive!
So far so good. Based on other review, may not last. For my newly planted trees, the donut makes watering much easier and doesn't use up my limited supply of soaker hoses. Ebay price was a tad lower than other online sellers.

Update after two months use:
Three of five of these have split on the seams. Very poor quality. A good idea badly executed.

Pass on this item!
After many attempts this item has failed! Unless you have a perfectly level area under your tree the Donut does not work well as there as there are only two area where the water can drain.

Helped Save My Plants
GA in the summer can be quite hot and dry. Water costs here are very high to run your irrigation system. New plants need water to survive and this item helps to take care of watering.

Great for hard to irrigate areas
Bought to water new curbside tree and I love it! Works great and I don’t have to dig under the sidewalk. Once the tree is established it will be on its own but while it is young and tender I can use the donut. Brilliant!

Back saver
This thing is great. Fill it up with a hose and it trickles water to your plant. Easy on the back as well I’m happy with my purchase
