The beach house
I liked what I read about the book and I purchased it, this was the first time I read any books by the author Jane Green. I was disappointed with the book, it really didn't hold my interest. I couldn't get involved in the characters and I felt the author wasn't really into the characters either, it was sorta cold. I would not recommend this book for myself, maybe someone else might like the story telling style of Jane GreenI liked what I read about the book and I purchased it, this was the first time I read any books by the author Jane Green. I was disappointed with the book, it really didn't hold my interest. I couldn't get involved in the characters and I felt the author wasn't really into the characters either, it was sorta cold. I would not recommend this book for myself, maybe someone else might like the story telling style of Jane Green

The Beach House by Jane Green
I just had to choose this book. From the front cover it just drew me in, then reading the blurb on the back cover just made me want to get into those pages. It is a really excellent story about several characters who share a house in Nantucket for the summer. The owner of the house is in financial difficulty and needs to raise some cash to help save the house from sale. Her son, and some others including children come to live in the house over the summer. The book charts their relationships and the reasons why they come to stay in the beach house and ultimately, what happens to them and the house after the summer is over. It is one of the best books I have read in a long time and really didn't want to put the book down. If I hadn't got a daughter who needs feeding and attention on a ... I just had to choose this book. I love light summer time books and this one is perfect. Great characters and love how the story all comes together. Jane Green is super author and I am now reading more of her books. So glad I discovered her!!! I highly recommend this book!

Fantastic Story!! Will read many times!!
The book starts with many story lines. They are each in a crisis, and as they find happiness, they are all brought to magical Nantucket and brought together. This book shows how happiness comes in the most unsuspecting times and places. This was an encouraging book to read. Jane Green is a great author. I enjoy the happy endings in all her books I have read so far.

This book, as all Jane Green books, is an incredible story where you laugh and cry and relate completely to the characters. Unlike her other books, where they are focused more on 20 somethings, Jane Green and her characters have grown and the book, with the same twisting tales of love and fate and survival of life, can relate to both audiences, older and younger, women who have lived, loved, and wanted their happy ending.This book, as all Jane Green books, is an incredible story where you laugh and cry and relate completely to the characters.
