    First time buyer and the overall experience has been great. The lens is in mint condition, matches the description well, and works as expected. The price is also great. The owner put a lot of care in wrapping and packaging the box, and also was in constant communication with me about shipping dates and updates. Shipping was very fast and only took 3 days from Japan to Canada. Would buy from here again and recommend to friends!

    First time buying from them and it wouldn’t be the last for sure. The camera is in better condition than described and it looks amazing. Haven’t tested it with a film yet but everything looks good. It was packed with utmost care and the postage was very fast. Definitely worth the money. Communication is prompt and easy with them. Now I understand what Japan standard is.

    Sharpness That Razors Envy...

    Sharper than the proverbial razor, the images this lens produces will please ( and shock ) even the most discriminating photographer. There is even room for a tripod support ring, if wanted, to ensure those engaging in 1:1 image reproduction maintain the sharpness this lens is capable. If one wants to handhold and forego a tripod, the built-in IS works VERY well. One thing included in this lens design is weather sealing, which, in MHO, is more desirous than image stabilization. When using this lens in a tropical location, temperate rainforest, or even a shore setting, this latter feature is of utmost importance. Simply add a UV filter to the front element and you are ready to go in less than perfect conditions. Due to these features and it inherit sharpness, this lens is the ' Ayatollah ...

    Crisp photos - natural light is easily captured and the objects true color and image quality and is accurately recorded.

    Excellent lens..no complaints. The manual focus operation is best for extreme closeups. Automatic focus shifts in and out of focus with the inevitable minute movement of the camera or the subject. With patience and a careful eye there are many more opportunities for interesting pictures not available to the photographer with a standard lens. This lens produced more results than I was expecting.

    It's a perfect Macro lens!

    Pros: Super sharp Macro lens! Awesome image quality! Amazing bokeh! Very lightweight! (Minor) Cons: AF has 3 distance modes which can be cumbersome at times. AF at short focal distances tends to "wander" when not using a tripod (but this is common with this type of lens.)

    canon 100 mm 2.8 macro lens L series

    The lens gives a nice sharp image and the fact that is a fast lens makes it easy to photograph close up in lower light conditions. The focus is fast and very quiet. I would definitely recommend this lens!

    Amazing

    This L lens is highly underrated. I think it's a must have and is an extremely useful lens. The focal length and close focusing distance is great for portraits and the image stabilization is top notch allowing you to photograph still subjects at 1/10 of a second.
