    The speakers arrived early and they sound great I heard a lot about the DS18 speakers but I had to see for myself and was not disappointed, I had Alpine speakers and these blew them out of the water and how crisp they sound even at a high volume. I recommend these to anyone who wants to upgrade their car audio.

    Get some you will love them

    Great sound quality and value. Install could be challenging if you are not mechanically inclined, because of the magnet size. There many not be enough space behind the door or rear speaker deck. I had to modify both but gladly did so, sound improvement is worth the work, plus I love a challenge. Would definitely buy again for future projects.

    DS18 Pro-X 6.5 inch speakers.

    I needed replacement 6.5 inch speakers to replace the originals. I am NOT one of these people that Thump Thump down the street. All I wanted was good sounding speakers and these fit the bill. It is once again a pleasure to listen to my radio. One thing to be aware of is the depth of these speakers was a half inch or so thicker that the original equipment speakers. This wasn't a problem for me, my vehicle had spacious door cavities. If you can, check how much space you have available in your doors, etc. Thanks for your time.

    Replaced Alpine type R

    Excellent sound quality and power handling. In my application it is used as a mid bass driver band-passed between 100hz to 1000hz at 125 watts RMS That is the frequency range where this speaker shines.

    THE BEST 6.5’S IVE EVER OWNED

    These Ds18’s are so clear and clean Omg!! So I went Ds18 everything... I have 4 6-9’s, 4 bullet tweeters; 4 horns and 12 6.5’s!!!! IT SOUNDS LIKE I HAVE AN ORCHESTRA IN MY TAHOE!!! Thanks guys!!! 😁🙏👍🏼. Here are some photos of the Tahoe before the ds18’s.. I’ll send some with them in it; when I take some! THANK YOU GUYS AGAIN. I LIKE IT LOUD TOO!!! 😂💯

    THE BEST and virtually ONLY SPEAKER FOR MY APPLICATION!

    I built a custom cabinet and needed a good full range speaker that was small enough to fit, powerful enough to handle overkill wattage, and it had to be 8ohms. Everything else I found was almost exclusively 4ohms. I was also using another speaker for the project that was 350 watts - but it was only 4ohms. Now I’m switching that one out for another one like this because it couldn’t handle the output of the amp. This speaker really does sound remarkable! Clean and pristine!
