Classic 1970s socio-political satire with great cast and music directed by Robert Altman
This is a classic 1970s movie with a large excellent cast directed by Robert Altman. There is also lots of original music including the Oscar winning "I'm Easy" by cast member Keith Carradine.
It was also nominated for Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Supporting Actress (both Lily Tomlin and Ronee Blakely). Although some revieweres thought the movie was a critiism of the country music world, it is actually a biting social and political satire.
