The other blades that are not medical grade leave tiny cuts on your face and damage it in a microscopic manner putting you at risk to break out and hurt yourself. It's perfect for opening tape on boxes, cleaning between cracks, any kind of fine detail work, getting stickers off of glass. This one's going in my tiny tool kit for detail work. I'll have to order another one for the med kit.
