    Lyman products and customer service is second to none!

    After 40 years of reloading I finally bought a set of these Lyman scale check weights and really now wonder why did I take so long? My DPS1200 was giving me some erratic powder drops after switching to H1000 so I wanted to check it at high end and low end to ensure accuracy. I always have a second scale that I check the odd load to ensure that the scale is not drifting. Anyway these are perfect to check and calibrate my powder weighing equipment! Don't be stupid like me and take so long to get a set. I like this older set as it comes in a nice compact Lyman container with a lid. The newer ones with the vacuum formed packaging seem to lend themselves to losing these small weights.

    Great Weight Checkup

    I use it every time I am weighing powder. Every 5th load I take one of the weights and check the scales using one of the Lyman Weights. Makes for more consistent groups.

    Good to check your scales

    A good product to have if you want to double-check the accuracy of your scales. The pieces are a bit difficult to pick up with the included somewhat flimsy tweezers, perhaps they're just for the lightest wire weights- but you're not supposed to touch the weights and get grease from your fingers on them, sooooo.... Anyway- overall a good product.

    Good for my uses at a good price !

    Used them on 3 different scales electronic & beam and they are on the money with the exception of two weights being possibly within .5 grain off. I don’t have a very high end scale to determine exactly but according to two beam scales it is approx .5 grain. Only on two of the weights. This s plenty close enough for me. No need to spend more.

    Accuracy in weighing

    When I received my Weight Checks, I found they were new. I have a small kitchen scale and went to work verifying their accuracy. They showed the scale a little off. No problem. Next I pulled out my Beam Scale and the Weights were exact and just what I needed. Great having even if I don't use them everyday.
