    Still in his prime

    Filmed at MSG, NY, right at the turn of the century when Elton still had the pipes and could still hit most of the notes. This is a greatest hits live that doesn't fail to live up to the title. I absolutely love it. The duo with Billy Joel is awesome. I would really have loved to see this live!!

    Good EJ concert- all the Hits!

    Awesome concert dvd. Elton recorded it over a 2-night span at MSG, but the first nite the equipment malfunctioned, hence the title. If you are looking for THE best EJ concert, however, check out his “Elton at 60” also recorded at Madison Square Garden. It celebrates his 60th bday as well as his 60th performance at the fabled arena. Get it in Blu-ray to get the best viewing/listening experience.

    Very worthwhile

    I spent a bit of time looking for a good Elton John SACD or BluRay. There are others that have better quality video but his has all of the hits, in great 5.1 sound. (Although I have played it in DD5.1 as well as DTS, the difference wasn't much. Mix was great either way. Buy this one. It's good.

    Elton at his best!

    I was thoroughly impressed with this concert dvd. The audio and video is outstanding. Elton sounds as good live as in the studio. And sings without audience participation. Which I love. The only drawback was a few guests join him onstage, but all of them were okay except for Mary J. Blige, who sang in the wrong key. But hey, that's what the skip button is for. Anyway, don't hesitate if you like Elton John. Buy this now!
