Great Money saving Solution!
If you own a vehicle that is model year 2011-13 with the pentastar v-6, you're bound to need one of these. The spring and plastic nipple come flying out when you remove the oil filter and will need replacement. Instead of replacing the whole oil cooler like everyone tells you to, just buy this kit and you're good to go. DO NOT run your car without the spring and plastic nipple. You will be running your engine with unfiltered oil.

Easy to relace
When you remove the oil filter and the spring is loose, you need this part. Remove the remaining spring and plastic cup, install the new kit by simply placing the new spring in the tube then press the new plastic cup into the tube with the tip facing up. Press it all the way down around the spring so it fully seats and the problem has been resolved.

EZ FIX
This product saved me hundreds of dollars Without having to replace the oil cooling/filter unit As suggested by the dealer. Great solution to a poorly designed System.

Backup for oil changes
