Similar Songs
I think all the songs are so similar that I cannot tell the difference between one songs to the other. I also have difficulty understanding her words and the songs are rather flat. Love Emmy Lou
I am a huge Emmy Lou fan. And like Linda Ronstadt, her albums reflect her wide range of styles, although always with a definite "country" bent, and most always in English. This one is a dandy, very different from when I first listened to her, way way back in the 1970s. Red Dirt Girl is one of the saddest songs I've ever heard, and it's why I bought this album. Ask questions before you purchase about tone quality.
