The grain on the ash blank is very plentiful and straight, it looks really cool and if I didn't know any better I'd think this was one piece of wood but it's two. They also gave me an extra half inch to work with on each side which is even cooler! If I need another blank for a custom guitar body I know where I will be spending my money.
