It may break some of the plastic tabs holding the retainer. I found it best to avoid placing most of the hubcap onto the rim and trying to push in the remaining tabs. Instead, try to push in the last half of the hubcap in together

This seller is recommended - you can trust them. I caution buyers these did not fit precisely and required some adjustment to fit - and were a challenge. And plastic trim pieces are fragile and difficult to install ! But, if you're "handy" you can do it DIY.
