Included in the group are Frodo and hobbits Sam (Sean Astin), Merry (Dominic Monoghan), and Pippin (Billy Boyd); the wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen); human warriors Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen) and Boromir (Sean Bean); the dwarf Gimli (John Rhys-Davies); the elf Legolas (Orlando Bloom).     Excellent video/sound quality

    Good value BluRay set. This set of disc solves the sound issues that were on original dvd when first released. Spoken words are much louder and clear. On the original dvd when they were released long ago this was a major problem. That’s why I purchased the Blu-ray

    Probably the best way to watch these films

    I have had the 4k editions for a year and went back and bought these because I prefer them. The coloring is better on these blu ray versions, and in the 4k editions, they digital remove the film grain which makes the picture fuzzy and glow-y at some parts. So now I can have the best of both worlds

    A Wonderful Movie!

    I have always loved The Lord of the Rings movies. It is the classic tale No matter how bad things are in this world, read the last page of the Bible-good wins out!!!f good versus evil and in the end, good triumphs! The author was a devout Christian, and the story is a metaphor of the Christian faith.

    A midgets tale of a wizard

    Visually appealing, intelligent yet nerdy, I don't know why or how I relate to anything in the fictual tale yet...I watched and was entertained, a lot.
