I previously bought a cheaper version with near identical packaging claiming "Made in Germany" but it was Chinese rubbish. Rough on the skin and internal parts are plastic instead of stainless steel. The reverse of the packaging is in Chinese instead of English. That item is now in the bin. Genuine article on left of photos, Chinese on right.
