But it wasn t quite as soft as described: I couldn t really form it with my fingers. I had to use tools to shape it. The short pieces of wire used to hold the wire together during shipping were much, much softer than the roll of wire itself. Perhaps I was sent Hard wire instead of Soft wire? Apart from that, it was the right size and it arrived on-time. The pictures are of some that I have twisted myself by hand.The wire used for binding the coil was soft aluminium wire.Soft annealed stainless is markedly harder than even hard aluminium.I hope this explains the observation. For anything other than simple bending or twisting of any wire, tools are necessary to accurately grip and form shapes.
