    Review Clock Oil

    Having watched You Tube videos I discovered this oil and was recommended as the best and has been around for many, many years. I also researched it on Google and found the same result. Yes, you have to agree that it is a bit pricey, but how much did you pay for the grandmother or grandfather clock that you want to oil? Most likely a lot of money. So, my thinking is I want the best for my clock that I paid $3,000 for twenty-four years ago. I purchased and used this oil and I know that my clock got the best until it's next oiling.Comes with four little needle like applicators for all the shafts that need oiling. This way you cannot over do it with the amount of oil you are applying. Worked well for me. It takes time to do so don't be in a rush. Also I wore a pair of magnifiers to help me see ...

    Good kit for oiling clocks

    I'm new to clock oiling and really planned to have my grandfather clock professionally oiled when the chimes started to ring slowly and then stopped. I called around my local area and found out that the going rate was $150 for the service call and $450 to oil the clock. Since that was excessive, I researched the process on line and bought two books, a tube of synthetic grease and this oiling kit, Other than the fact that the handles on the oilers are quite short, the kit and the included oik are first rate. The synthetic oil and synthetic grease (not part of this kit) were both the brands most recommended, Other than taking a little time everything worked well and the clock is now working as well as when I first bought it nearly 10 years ago.

    Really the Very Best Clock Oil

    Used this oil on my non functioning 30 year old Wall Clock with a Hermle Movement. Took the movement out and without taking it apart cleaned every pivot point and gear with isopropyl alcohol. Applied the Oil carefully to each pivot and gear. Clock is totally restored and keeps perfect time. 8 day movement runs for over 9 days. This Oil is truly the best.

    getting started

    Great kit! The small tools are of good quality, the oil bottle is glass, the grease container is good thick plastic. The disk with three small oil bowls/holders is a good solid piece, no cutting corners there. The tools and bowls/container should last a life "time", pun intended. Thank

    An excellent product

    Although slightly pricey, the synthetic oil lasts, as one need only use the smallest quantity for any particular clock. The accompanying kit of small tools is also very handy
