Otherwise, it coils badly in the pool (when using a Pool Cleaner vacuum) and vacuum won't go very far. The hose is coiled in the box when delivered, so you just need to "loosen it up" first. Besides that, we'll see how long it lasts. I like the swivel end for the vacuum. The hose is 1.5" female on both ends, so you may need a male-to-male adapter for your pool connections or leaf canister.
